The system

Everything arrives by one route. Everything is settled from one account.

A closed loop takes away the chance of loss instead of trying to police behaviour.

The single route

Refiner, to One Gold, to master, to store.

Metal reaches a store by one approved path, and every movement is logged at item level.

Step one

Approved refiner

Metal is bought only from LBMA-accredited or approved refiners.

Step two

One Gold supply control

Every bar is logged, serialised and assayed on arrival.

Step three

Country master

Holds stock for its market and releases it against orders.

Step four

The store

Receives, displays and sells, with every piece scanned at each step.

The routes that do not exist

Six things that cannot happen.

Each one closes a route by which metal or margin usually goes missing in a growing network.

  • Direct buying by a store. Stores never purchase metal on their own account.
  • Minting or private labels by a master. Only One Gold mints in its name.
  • Unapproved refiners. No metal enters the network from outside the approved list.
  • Store-printed packaging or certificates. Assay cards come from one source.
  • Local campaigns or discounts. Pricing and promotions are set centrally.
  • Cash purchases at store level. All buying runs through the trade account.
The One Trade Account

A store that holds no cash cannot make an unrecorded purchase.

Funds are prepaid into a controlled account, and metal moves only after a six-step release.

ONE TRADE ACCOUNT
  1. DepositThe partner prepays funds into the controlled One Trade Account.
  2. CreditThe account is credited and the balance is visible to both sides.
  3. AuthorisationAn order is raised against the live balance and the day's spot price.
  4. Three-key releasePartner, master and One Gold each approve before metal moves.
  5. FulfilmentSerialised stock ships in sealed, insured consignments.
  6. ReconciliationEvery gram is matched to the account, the order and the scan log.

This is the part most gold networks do not have.

Most networks lose control at the second store, through slow substitution. This system removes the opportunity.
